Bright always wanting to carry our therapy bags
It is official, we only have one week left at the Haven. (insert:tears) I can not believe how quickly the time has passed; seems like we just started our first week of therapy. We ended the week well with the language classes. The children at Haven 2 (our toddlers) are getting really familiar with the routine of class time and are listening more which in turn makes them learn more. An auntie even led part of the language class a couple of times this week. We also had aunties sitting outside while we were teaching so they could observe and hopefully absorb what is being taught in order for them to carry over the language enriching activities.

**Update: Sidney (Haven 3) is doing a ton better. She is participating in language class and feeding/swallowing therapy too.
Tonight we have no water and to add to the mix the power went out after dinner. A few of us had some excess energy so we decided to color on the front porch with chalk under the light of our trusty head lamps. We did a fabulous job I must say. After we got bored with that we read by head lamp (naturally). Gotta LOVE Africa!
