No.1 Ladies' Detective

Lydia "Minnie Mouse" at Haven 3 today

Today was another half day at the Haven; which I am not complaining about! On our morning walk to the Haven Cat, Lace, and I decided to take a moment and have a photo shoot of shadow pictures. Yes, we are that cool.
"WOW"
"JOY"

Peace and Love

"DAD" since we're Daddy's girls!

We discovered yet another one of our babies, Alfred, who is fairly new to the Haven, is not doing well. He was having respiratory distress and thank goodness for Caroline and B.Weave insisting on getting him to the clinic. Last we heard he was still at the clinic. Please keep Alfred in your prayers yall!

We did not "technically" have the afternoon off. Caroline presented us with a Dysphagia presentation informing us on the basics of infant feeding/swallowing. Not only did she prepare and give us a wonderful presentation she is also emailing us her notes/PowerPoint. LOVE. HER! Amazing job sweet Caroline :)

Tonight after dinner Mrs. Hamby invited us back to the house to watch a show from HBO called "No.1 Ladies' Detective". On the walk back over, Rach had the brilliant idea of using her laptop as a boom box and played "Paper Airplanes" while we all broke out in random dance moves in the middle of the road. In Africa. Yessss, it was quite a sight. Have I mentioned how much I love this group!??! I do. FACT.

Once we arrived back to the Hamby house we were astonished at the set up for "movie night". Mrs. Hamby had a table full of popcorn, cokes, cookies, and ice cream. She had a projection screen set up on the porch and chairs lined up as if we were in a real theater.

Caroline, Rach, and I SUPER excited for movie night
Mrs. Hamby does not mess around when it comes to planning an event! She already has us lined up to go to some river next Wednesday. Ever since she has arrived we have been spoiled. i.e. popcorn, SALSA, guacamole, fruit galore. She is a gracious and wonderful woman who is full of energy (I heart her!).
